Chinese writing on 19th c pot |
Posted By: rat Posted Date: Apr 23, 2018 (12:44 PM) |
Message some of the other marks say it's reserved for use in the imperial household, made by Tang Ying, who oversaw the imperial atelier, etc, all just to impress the unsuspecting buyer into believing that this is a very rare and important object. The dragons and the painting look quite well executed, but I don't see why this would be a late 19th century object in particular. What are your reasons for saying that it is? Post a Response |
