PWContemporary is dedicated to presenting the finest contemporary artists of the Himalayan region to our clients: we specialize in the work of artists from Lhasa, Tibet, and the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. We are affiliated with Peaceful Wind, and are located directly across the hall at our downtown Santa Fe location, upstairs in an old building a short walk from the Plaza.

Gade: Half Tibetan - Half Chinese

<b>Current Exhibition<br></b>Gade: Half Tibetan - Half Chinese Exhibition through the end of January. This exhibition features an important group of paintings by Gade from 2009 and 2010. The theme of the exhibition, is "half Tibetan - Half Chinese", reflecting Gade's own mixed parentage and the effects of this in his daily life. Gade is one of the leaders of the younger generation of young Tibetan artists, who seek to understand and express the rapidly changing world of their homeland.
