Lakhe mask

Lakhe dances are usually presented as a part of major festivals in Kathmandu, particularly the autumn festival of Indra Jatra. Pairs of dancers, dressed in colorful flowing robes and often armed with swords, dance through the streets in mock battle, accompanied by musicians.
