the name you have is correct, but it is signed as it is usually rendered, surname first, so Li Hongjiu. I don't see anything for this painter either, but it is possible that the artist is a Cantonese speaker and romanizes his name in some other fashion than the pinyin romanization I used here. But I looked the painter up using the characters for his name and didn't see any results, so he is likely simply too minor to have easily found information about.
