Brass bowl

Hi there,
I have possession of a brass bowl which has the markings of Eastern origin (please refer photos below)
It is approximately 240mm in diameter, and 105mm in height. It weighs 1.58kgs.
I was hoping for any direction or guidance on when and where it was made, whether there's any cultural significance (meaning in the design), guidance on market value, whether the artist is known.
I will not be disappointed if there's no significance in this piece, as it holds sentimental value - as it belonged to my great grandfather - early 1900.
