Message David I received you pictures. The reason I am not answer your question immediately is I am waiting for your answers to my questions. The first piece looks pretty good so it is either real or a recent year copies based on what I can see from your pictures. Song Guan ware are super rare and probably all are in major museums. I doubt you can find any piece on the open market today. If this is purchased by your family within the past thirty years, it is not a good sign. Even it is in your family for a very long time, you will still have hard time finding people to accepting it, because no one has the chance to handle them , except a couple museums. I will suggest you take it to the palace museum in Beijing or Taipei. The second one is not correct. Are both pieces come from the same source? Post a Response |
