Posted By: William Posted Date: Mar 17, 2007 (04:00 AM) |
Message Hi, This is a small iron-red and gilt jar, flanked at the shoulders by a pair of moulded lion-head masks, painted around the globular body with two peacocks and an abundance of leaves. This pattern is above a band of large lotus petals. The base is unglazed. Height: 2 in Medium diameter: 2 9/16 in What is your opinion about this fine jar (a qianlong japanese pattern jar ?) Thanks !
