Chinese or Japanese calligraphy screen Translation/Artist?

Script,
極難處是書生落魄
最可憐是浪子白頭

Sino-Japanese transcription,
Kiwamete mutsukashiki tokoro wa kore shosei rakuhaku nari,
Mottomo awaremubeki kore rōshi hakutō nari

In my rough translation,
The most difficult thing is that I am going lonely (ruined),
and the most pitiful is the white (bald) head of the prodigal son

丙午冬仲 Hinoe uma Fuyu-naka ‐Year of Fire-Horse (1846) Mid-Winter
Sinature,
鼎斎逸史 寫書 - Calligraphed by Teisai Isshi

Upper seal,
生方寛字猛叔 - Ubukata Kanji Mōshuku -
Surname and two pseudonyms

Ubukata Teisai 生方鼎斎 1799-1856
Famous calligrapher from the end of Edo period.
He was the calligrapher who set up the Tenpō Tsuhō coin's calliraphy.
