OK so mark is "Nian Zhi Qian-long", a popular mark!! So here's my extremely ill informed take on this jar. The mark is poor quality, often a sign of an apochryphal or 'fake' mark.. Equally to be of the age (as marked) and complete and unchipped is extremely unlikely. Perhaps then, at best it might be 19thC but could just as likely be later. I'm told that older fars are heavier, ballast for stability as ship's cargo? My inexperience doesn't allow me to make any judgement on this but I bought it for the artwork/landscape for v little so don't feel too disappointed.

Still waiting on anyone to chip in with an opinion.
