Thanks for your reply. Hope Bill H. can help.
I talked to my mother again on these, and it was my great-grandfather that bought them, not that that makes any difference, really!

Would love to know more on them and an approximate value, or just whether they ARE valuable or not (i.e. are they worth millions of dollars each or just thousands, or hundreds!). My mother has them hidden away in her closet because she's not sure of their value. Would be nice for her to display and enjoy them. Thanks for any further help by anyone.
