Re: Help Translate This Asian Character Mark |

Message The mark, which is shown upside down, begins with "Imperial Japan" (Dai Nihon). The rest is unreadable, at least to me. The mark looks to be a second or later generation casting, so could be a Chinese or other attempt to reproduce a Japanese censer. If you bother to repost, please show the whole thing.
