Message The painting style and enamels on your Chinese crane bowl show a degree of evolution past the brushwork and colors I'd expect to see on late Qing wares. It probably was made for domestic and regional export markets circa 1930. The four character inscription on the side in black reads from the right as the blessing, 'May your longevity achieve the span of the Southern Mountains' (Shou bi Nan Shan). Best regards, Bill H.
