Re: Green stone on stand |

Message Your stone looks very much like California Serpentine which is abundant in California and is the state stone. The color ranges from bright green to a dark, blue-green. The shape and flat base on your stone suggests that it may have been displayed as a Viewing Stone or Suiseki. Below is a picture of a piece of California Serpentine which has not been weathered or polished smooth. |
