Message Hi Jannis and Arjan, I sort of doubt that anyone would put those particular characters on the bottom of a Satsuma-type stoneware vase unless they wanted them read as Kinkozan, but anything's possible, especially with all the fakes around. Actually there's nothing out of kilter about the vase vis-a-vis styles prevailing during much of the late Meiji-Taisho period, or first quarter of the 20th century.
