Message Hi Lori, These are in fact Japanese woodblock prints by the artist Wada Sanzo (1883-1963), published by Kyoto Hanga-in depicting the Seven Gods of Luck (Shichifukujin). The print at the left depicts 3 Gods: Bishamonten, Jurojin and Hotei; the second print shows Benzaiten (Benten), Daikoku, Ebisu and Fukurokuju. I recommend that you remove both prints from their frames and store them in a map of acid neutral paper or have them reframed in a professional manner. Guy. Post a Response |
