Message The glaze meant to imitate appearance yueh ware (glazed earthenware fired in pretty high oxygen kiln). Mouth shape imitate what found also yueh wares and Song to Yuan Dynasty jars and other vessels. But your dropper is porcelain. The red wash on base is found on pieces imitate old green wares but made about 1910 or so in China, also new wares made in China imitate old. From strange decoration, guess made in last 10 years but where don't know. Good luck, Cal Post a Response |
