Message Not Tang, this open work floral design incense burner with lose rings is popular in 18th Century (Qing Dynasty). According to the picture, it can be made of either white nephrite or chalcedony. This piece is modern with sharp and fast cuts from high speed saw, Qing art on valuable white jade is much more delicate with care, and chalcedony is too hard to be carved like that in ancient China. For your consideration. Anita Mui |
