Message Afraid I can't be of help on age. My impression is that mulberry bark paper is pretty tough stuff, but the only example I have is a hand-painted (in gouache) Thai horoscope bought at an exhibition at a major hotel and shopping complex in Bangkok almost 30 years ago. The artist had antiqued it around the edges with tea, but the colors and paper elsewhere remain fresh-looking, as they should in a frame. Best regards, Bill H. Post a Response |
