Japanese writing on print ??

Your print is Chinese.
It is the 6th drawing in the series of 12 drawings used in Zen Buddhism to describe the stages of practitioner's progress toward enlightenment.
Inscription on left side,
無碍牧牛圖之六 - Picture of Carefree Cowherd -
No.6.

Right side,
x雲山 - xYun Shan (Standard Chinese)) x Wan Saan (Cantonese)
Unfortunately the first -Yan- character is to cursive to read.
The artist name could be Yan Wan Saan in Cantonese

The French inscription,
L'enfant Sans Souci - A Carefree Child
