Re: Identifying chop mark on brass bowl |

Message The picture is so small that it is impossible to say exactly what it says. However, I can see that there are six characters in the seal. The vast majority of incense burners like this carry a Da Ming Xuan De Nian Zhi (大明宣德年製)seal mark. This is an homage to the era and do not mean that the item is from the Ming dynasty period. Incense burners like this are still being made with the mark. Post a Response |
