Subject:Reflected mark
Posted By: Marina Sat, Feb 06, 2021 IP: 2.42.39.118

Hallo, I cannot understand why the mark on this japanese porcelain is reflected. It can be readed just in a mirror. Is it a fake mark or an unique mistaken mark? It means Eiwa Kinsei (Eiwa Respectfully made). I tried to show you the difference between the right one and mine in these two pictures.

It's nothing more than a botchedly transferred mark to a fake Japanese porcelain object.
The "Genuine Porcelain Japan" label was affixed just to cover the missing part - lol.

With regards,
I.Nagy

These Eiwa Kinsei marks are stamped marks.
In your case someone was very clumsy with stamping the mark. I don't think it's a fake, it's not old enough and not valuable enough.
Regards,
Martin.
