I am trying to figure out what all the marking stand for on this lovely vase. The is 10.38" tall and 4" in diameter. It has raised paint. I have been on a different forum and Nishida Zo is what I heard but I am trying to figure out how old it is and also what the other marks are. Thank you in advance

京都 - Kyōto - Kyōto
西田造 - Nishida-zō - Made by Nishida

Other marking,
セ(?)三 - Se (?) 3 - Producton related marking
The first marking is a non-existing character, only resembles to the katakan セ (se) syllable.

Export ware from the Kyōto based maker Nishida Itarō
西田伊太郎 during the 1880-901s.
Nishida received 3rd prize at the 4th National Industrial Exhibition in 1887.

With regards,
I.Nagy

In the middle: Nishida 西田 Zo 造 (Made by Nishida).
On top of that from right to left: Kyoto 京都.
On the left: I don't recognize the top character, the other one is 3 (san) 三.

Nishida had a studio in the Gojozaka area of Kyoto and was known for his Kyoto Satsuma (Kyo-yaki) in the late Meiji / Taisho period (1880-1925).

Regards,
Martin.
