Subject:Help with translation on a Kutani plate

Hello,
Can somebody translate what it says on this plate? Is this a Yoshidaya Kutani or a Ko-Kutani? I do not know the difference. Thank you very much!

The mark reads "Fuku" 福, which is often seen on Kutani ware like this. There are a lot of different written Fuku marks around. Just google "Fuku marks".

Might be Yoshidaya style, however, Yoshidaya style porcelains are very close to Ko-Kutani in the artistry and quality. So I'm not sure.
I also have no idea how old your plates are, perhaps someone else on the forum has more knowledge about this.

Greetings,
The Aode style/Yoshidaya style enameling would be a correct stylization; but the key aspects of the pieces themselves - including the density/hue of the aubergine & physical composition, (along with several other characteristics) has me feel these are not from the Yoshidaya kiln itself - nor the subsequent mid-19th/Late Edo kilns producing this style under later names.

Possibly later 19th/mid-Meiji (or after) based on the beveling and script cartouche proportions; but still a lovely set you have regardless.
