Subject:Chinese painted scroll 25ft long

I hope someone can help me with this incredibly long painted scroll. A translation of the text would be great. I can add additional images if needed. It is just quite difficult to show the whole painting due to the length.

Illegible seal of the artist.
Gourd shaped seal,
神品　-　Master Piece

A short explanation about Zhang Zeduan and the historical background of the picture.
Oval seal,
墨翁斎　-　Mowengzhai - Pseudonym
Second,leisure seal is not clear enough to read,

The original version of this scroll by Zhang Zeduan (1085-1145) is kept in the Beijing Palace Museum. During the centuries over fourty known copies and interpretations have been made from the original. This one is a repro of a modern (...1928,1985) interpretation.

Thank you so much for the very detailed information Nagie. You must have come across so many versions of this scroll in the past. I was given several old painted scrolls recently, none of which I have been able to find out much about. I'm going to post them in a moment. Thank you again for your help.
