Any idea what this might be? Horn of some kind? Holds water and doesn’t leak 8 1/2 inches x 6

You might check the internet for Chinese hand-carved rhinoceros horn. Your item is very intricately carved. The last photo you posted almost looked as though there was a signature, but I could not read it.

Thanks Judith! I have searched the Internet but haven’t found anything that matches this. The shape is intriguing, not a shape you typically see in a cup so that has me curious :)
I also thought that could be a signature of some sort but then again it could just be scratches LOL
