Thanks as always. The painting may be old based on the ornate decoration on frame clips at the back of the frame.

The signature is that of the Japanese artist Bakufu Ohno (1888-1976)

Thanks ManuD. This was helpful. First I thought this was a painting. Then, when I saw this on the internet on various websites I saw thus is a woodblock. I opened the frame to look and see some publisher data on the side (front) and as red stamp on the back. The bleed through is not distinct as the the link below.
