Posted By: Bill H Mon, Nov 16, 2020 This is a Vietnamese rendition of the Chinese God of Long Life. I'm unsure of what the name is in Vietnamese, but it's Shoulao in Mandarin. I'd speculate it might have been made and sold during the 3rd quarter of the 20th century, Vietnam War period. Lots of Vietnamese ceramics came out of Vietnam at that time with personnel assigned there with military forces. |
