Subject:Chinese Guanyin

This Chinese Guanyin is carved jade alabaster and 32 cm long. With a sign on the bottom. How old or new do you think it is ? Kan you read the sign ?

Alabaster Jade, , which one is it, as it can't be both.
Which test was made so far

Many thanks for your answer. I'm considering buying it and haven't got it in my hand. I only know it from photo and that description. So I'm sorry to say that I can't answer you.

In my opinion your figure that you are looking at buying is neither alabaster or jade.
It's a modern depiction made from Soapstone/other and probably done with a 3D printer.
These types of so-called antique carvings have been appearing on the market over the last few years. They look great but have little value.

I can tell you that it is a modern piece, keep your money for something simpler.
