This decorative brass 'Fu' (福 - 'good fortune') character likely is one of several auspicious ones made in Chinese and Korean workshops, among others, and sold widely in the late 20th century to tourists and military personnel in East and Southeast Asia. I believe they still may be available at Asian import stores if you want a set.
