Posted By: Bill H Mon, Oct 26, 2020 That indeed is a nicely-painted 'phoenix tail' form of vase made circa 1916 or somewhat later around the Hongxian period (1915-16). The book 'The Great Fortune', a catalog of the famed Weishaupt collection of late Qing and other Chinese porcelain, illustrates at least a couple of vases of this form with the related Jurentang mark of the Presidential palace used by Yuan Shikai, who became the Hongxian Emperor. |
