The first one is in my opinion Japanese Satsuma. It's made by Aoki and dates to the late Meiji period 1868-1912. Possibly a, little later.
The other one needs more pictures etc.

Your second vase may have a mark of 'Sei' (青), which gotheborg.com indicates was used on wares made by the Aoki brothers, who founded a kiln in the 1890s. The only date shown with various examples of their marks was circa 1950.

I have what I believe is a late Meiji (1868-1912) vase with some similarities to your first one in size, painting style and the molded petal applications, albeit the petals in a different place. It has what I take to be a factory mark of '大二' reading down on the base, with a meaning of 'Large No. 2'. I include a photo of the vase below, but don't have one of the irrelevant mark, which likely referred to the vase being the second of a large pair. The pedestal shown beneath it is a close match but not original to the vase.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Ignored the subject line and failed to state the most obvious point, which is your vases are both Japanese, not Chinese.
