Subject:yellow and green Chinese vase with 2 birds

I found this vase/lamp in a house clearance. I appreciate it's value is very little having been drilled right through the seal, with damage to the top etc. How ever it still beats a modern perfect copy hence I bought it. I just wondered if any one could tell me anything about it,the painting on the vase, the two birds and it's age which I assume is late 19th or early 20th Century? Any replies appreciated.

Hi Richard,
Unfortunately your vase is not from the late Qing period.
Based on your pictures and in my opinion it dates from the 2nd half of the 20th century. Perhaps 1960's.
