Subject:Help with a teapot

Hello, I have this teapot without lid and I am trying to find out when it was made by whom and if it has any value. Could anybody help with some info? Thank you!

Your teapot is a late 18th-early 19th century example of Nanking ware, which in many respects is a fancier version of the less expensive and more common Canton ware, which dominated the 19th century blue & white Chinese export porcelain market.

A very interesting article from the ceramic circle newsletter tried to get a more accurate indication of wares made over a prolonged period in the blue and white export mode. The author promoted the theory that teapots could be dated with some accuracy by the number of drain holes in the body of the pot.The more holes, the later the production.Earliest pots sometimes had only a single hole to keep leaves from exiting the spout. By that criteria, the object in question would fit in the early 19th century time frame. Not absolute, but still interesting.
