This is Sumida ware made by Koko Ishiguro.
On the Gotheborg website on the Sumida page this mark 香二 is wrongly translated as Banni.
Koko had 2 marks with only his name Koko: 香二 and 香々.
The first Kanji is 香 "Ko", and the second 二 and 々 can be considered as an iteration mark used in an old Chinese way for character repeating, so in that case it actually says: "Ko" (twice), so "Koko".
On marks with his full name Ishiguro Koko, the Koko name was also seen as 香香 or 香々
See my pictures.
I think this piece of yours is worth restoring in a proper way, it is ultimately over 100 years old, probably late Meiji era.
Regards,
Martin.
