Can someone help me identify a date/period of this moon flask and tell me where it originates from?

Your moon flask is datable by its 'pendant jewels' borders at the neck and foot to have been made about the 1930s or later. A similar style of figural painting also was seen around the same time in the Republic Period. See examples in the 'Star Gods' pattern herewith.

Best regards,

Bill H.

I finally found where I'd filed photos of my unmarked 12-inch charger which appears to have the same scene of figures as your moon flask, which I believe depicts a group of Luohan, who are deities who like the historic Buddha have attained enlightenment. The style is very similar to the Star God dishes already shown.
