Posted By: Bill H Sat, Oct 10, 2020 The greens and yellows in this vase bother me, because there's virtually no evidence in the photos that an artist's brush ever touched them, unless it was an air brush.. All I can compare this to is a cel from a Disney cartoon. Much the same with the Wanli mark on the base, which lacks evidence of overlap in the double circles. I suspect the foot may have been artificially dirtied, and the kiln flaws perhaps faked. Not unattractive, but... . |
