Hi Elvis,
In my opinion your plaques are chinese.
These types of plaques with calligraphy were very popular during the late guangxu period 1875-1908 through to the republican period 1912-1949.
My feeling based on your pictures and the style of work that they are from the 2nd half of the 20th century.

Pic.1,
聊借一枝 - Just borrowing a branch
口口程意亭冩 - Painted by Cheng Yiting in 口口

I can't decipher the first two characters in front
of the artist's name - probably the place name where he painted the plaques.

Pic.2,
疎影横斜 - Sparse shadows (of the branches) are slanting across
(Describing the beautiful posture of plum blossom)
口口程意亭冩 - Painted by Cheng Yiting in 口口

Cheng Yiting 程意亭 1895-1948
Ceramic painter from Jiangxi Province worked in Jindezhen. Was a member of "The Eight Friends of Zushan".

Your plaques appears to be a fairly contemporary efforts to imitate the mastery of nature found in paintings of Cheng Yiting, but they fall short of his sophistication in this arena. The difference seen in the style of the bird and the background foliage, especially in the second plaque shown, creates an impression of two different artists having worked on the picture.

Here are three links to Christie's auctions of authenticated works of Cheng Yiting. I believe the differences between them and the brushwork on your plaques should be obvious. The seals also are different.

Works by Cheng Yitang as well as other members of the 'eight friends of zushan' are highly collectable and priced as such.
Your plaques are very nice but are not by the master. The calligraphy, read mark as well as the style of painting is wrong for this master.
Most so-called works by these masters are in fact attributes. Genuine works fetch thousands. Even today it is very difficult to determine the genuine from attributes as the quality of said copies are outstanding.
Yours is in my opinion a product of the 2nd half of the 20th century.
