Subject:Help with covered jar signed, need date and comments

I just acquired a darling covered jar, possibly for incense or pot-pouri which measures about 12.5 inches to the top of the lid which has an interesting creature sitting atop it!
There are two chopmarks which hopefully someone can comment on telling of the maker and possibly the age.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is Japanese Satsuma faience,
陶博園　　-　Tōhakuen (Pottery Exhibition Garden)
成瀬製　　-　Naruse-sei - Made by Naruse
成瀬　　　-　Naruse

Naruse Seishi 成瀬誠志　１８４５－１９２３、was a master craftsman of Nasubikawa ware (Gifu Prefecture). He opened the "Tōhakuen" in Nasubikawa in 1866. At the same time he had a kiln in Tōkyō　Zōjōji Temple vicinity producing Tōkyō
Satsuma. In 1893 exhibited at the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition.

The red tsuba like mark reads:
Tohakuen 陶博園 Naruse 成瀬 Sei 製 (Tohakuen, made by Naruse). The green mark reads also Naruse. Date around 1890-1900.

Naruse Seishi (1845-1923) was a highly skilled pottery decorator (painter). He started pottery at the age of 13. At the age of 17, he moved to Tokyo and started a kiln. Later he ran a workshop Tohakuen in the vicinity of the Zojoji Temple in Tokyo around 1886, although some sources says Tohakuen was founded in 1872.

Thank you both very much!

Two more questions, is there a name for the creature that is atop the lid Or is it simply a devil of some type?
And I would imagine this item does not have a very high value; a value greater than perhaps a few hundred dollars.
