The crest almost appears to be a smiling moose.I,too,tried to find the mark in Goteburgs large review, but was not successful. However from the brushwork and style, it appears quite modern. Maybe someone like Bill can help identify the maker. |

Posted By: Bill H Thu, Sep 24, 2020 Not that I haven't been trying, but I've been unable as yet to wrap my brain around that marking. But agree, this looks to be a decorative piece, likely including the heraldry. The porcelain glaze looks almost like French, whence comes a lot of chinoiserie. |
