Posted By: carina Fri, Sep 18, 2020 IP: 217.244.217.132

Hello
I was given two Kakejiku hanging rolls and I would like to know if they are of any value.
I do not speak or read Japanese, can anyone please help me identify the artist?
Thank you so much :)

The hanging scrolls are Chinese,
No.1,
竹報平安 壬申年 - Bamboo reports peace (Good news from home) - In the Year of Water-Monkey (1992)
秋月 x x 写 - Autumn Month, Painted by x x
The signature and the seals are illegible

No.2,
福如東海 - Happiness as boundless as the eastern seas ( a stock term of congratulations)
李竹雲 - Li Zhuyun - Surname and given name (female)
Upper seal,
李 - Li
Lower seal,
竹雲 - Zhuyun

Unidentifiable calligrapher,

With regards,
I.Nagy

Hello !

Thank you SO MUCH for your answer, this is really helpful! In the images on the right there are close-ups of the signatures if you scroll to the right.
I have added the closeups of the signatures here again, would you please have a look again if you know this?

thank you and kind regards from Germany,
Carina
