Posted By: Ernest Wilhelm Thu, Sep 17, 2020 The carving somehow reminds me of what Canadian Jade carvers produced. Smaller black spots can indicate that it is BC Nephrite,(or Taiwanese Jade) larger black inclusions points to Russian Nephrite . My knowledge goes about 60years back. .Can you find any marking on this Carving? |

Posted By: Ernest Wilhelm Fri, Sep 18, 2020 So, that Jade originated most likely in Turkistan. some BC Jades and Taiwan Jades are difficult to tell apart. The crème de la crème in Canada is the Polar Jade. It is extremely rare, as only a small amount was found. |
