I believe the artist is Jiro Takidaira. I was able to find the print for sale here:

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch/%25E6%25BB%259D%25E5%25B9%25B3%25E4%25BA%258C%25E9%2583%258E/0/&prev=search&pto=aue

Scroll most of the way down.

Cheers,
Stan

Thank you Stan for your reply. Still looking to find the woodblock on the link you sent. Is there a market for a carved block like this and.. Would the Japanese market be better?

Try the link below and scroll down a bit and you'll see it in full color. There is a market for the blocks. I've seen a double-page ehon/book block sell for $80. There are other cases I don't remember any more. I suppose if it is a block from a famous print, it might bring a good price.

Cheers,
Stan

You are right the artist is Takidaira Jirō
With this knowledge the obscure part of the colophon has become clear,

Colophon.
滝原次郎 - Takihara Jirō (instead of xx 印 xx seal)
Framed name,
添島 - Soejima (probably the name of owner, who made the inscription)

With regards,
I.Nagy
