瑤艸廬　-　Yaocao-lu (Jade grass cottage) - Pseudonym

Pang Zuoyu 龐右玉　a.k.a Pang Zhao 龐昭　1915-1969
Female
Native of Wuxing, Zhejiang. Graduated from Shanghai Art College in 1934.Her uncle Peng Laichen was a famous art collector. She was good at flowers, grass-and-insect painting in gongbi style.Was a professional painter in the Chinese Academy of Painting in Shanghai. In 1969 was beaten down as anti-revolutionist and finally committed suicide.

Thank you I.Nagy for the very interesting information. What a sad end to a peaceful life of painting. I can't look at the painting in the same way.
