Posted By: Bill H Wed, Jul 29, 2020 If you flip the last image 180 degrees, the mark will read down and across from the top right as 'Made during the Chenghua Reign" (成化年製 - Cheng hua nian zhi). This is an apocryphal mark of the Ming emperor who ruled from 1465-1487. The dish dates from circa the late Qing years, probably about 1900 into the early Republic period (1912-1949). |
