Could this print be by Eizan? Any help with its identification gratefully received!

Your print has a striking resemblance to a print by Utagawa Toyokuni I titled a Procession of Women and printed in 1800. Your print has different patterns to the kimonos (note lower right). See the link below.

Cheers,
Stan

I managed to get into the Honolulu Museum of Art site and dig around. The Toyokuni I print is part of a quadriptych. See the link below:

Again, the kimono patterns are different than your print. Here is the print I pointed to in my last post:

https://art.honolulumuseum.org/objects/1919/procession-of-women-onna-daimyo-gyoretsu?ctx=0696437d-af35-41a2-a9e4-942242896a13&idx=243

How all this relates to your print beats me. Obviously, they are much the same, but different. There is water damage in the lower right of your print. Is there any chance there is a signature there? I think I see one smudged character.

Cheers,
Stan

Many thanks. I had tried the Hon. site but obviously missed it! Have put some filters on the bottom rh corner - on tilting the screen there does appear to be lettering there, but can`t make it out. There is a pencilled attrib. to Eizan on the back of the frame, but evidently not! Thanks again. Eric
