Subject:Markings
Posted By: SDGlanz Sun, Jun 28, 2020 IP: 2601:644:502:2010:d1 I have a blue and white tea top with markings on the bottom and want to know if this is a reproduction or something valuable? |

Posted By: Bill H Tue, Jun 30, 2020 The pot looks sleek, unblemished and quite contemporary. The faux mark reads down and across from the top right as 'Made during the Wanli Reign of the Great Ming Dynasty' (Da Ming Wan li Nian Zhi - 大明萬曆年製). Decorative value only, but in the right display surroundings, I don't think anyone would call it shabby. |
