Subject:Antique Chinese / Japanese Document Holder & Wax Seal Needing Seal Translation Etc.
Posted By: Gary Knudtzon Sun, Jun 28, 2020 IP: 2601:602:681:1290:a0 Interesting almost Military looking Chinese or Japanese Cloth covered Copper Document Tub with Iron Wax Seal. Tub has two attached copper small loops possibly for hanging on a belt as the Wax Seal hangs down from some string as noted. string is also attached to a copper loop on the top which is the Copper lid that lifts open. no other Identification other then Wax Seal which I was hoping some of you Marvelous Experts could possibly Translate for me. Also curious how old the piece is. Thank You for your Time and Valuable Information! Gary Knudtzon |
