Posted By: Bill H Wed, Jun 03, 2020 You have an above average example of a type of transfer-decorated Japanese porcelain that's often called 'Geisha Ware', a misnomer, since a motif like this typically depicts family life. You'll find it dating from the late Meiji period to the post-Occupation era (mid-1950s and later - see link below). Selling prices usually are modest, but your apparent tray may rate a bit more. |
