Subject:Artist(s) of two Chinese(?) paintings
Posted By: Willet Fri, May 29, 2020 IP: 1.129.104.247

Hi,

Is someone able to assist with identifying the artist(s) in the two paintings below? Based on my knowledge of their provenance I thought they might be by the same person but the seals look quite different (I'm assuming they are name seals).

I didn't initially notice the white fish (koi?) in the upper left quadrant of the first picture because it is quite faint and its eyes blend in with the surface staining/mildew. Is the faintness likely just the style or due to degradation?

Thanks again,
Willet
