Posted By: China Doll Wed, May 13, 2020 IP: 2600:1700:b392:4730: Any help translating the Chinese characters would be most appreciated. It is supposed to be jade but I have not received it yet. Any input most helpful. |

Posted By: China Doll Fri, May 15, 2020 Many thanks for your help in translation I. Nagy. In response to Ernest's inquiries, I have identified the objects as were identified by the sellers. As I had not received them yet I could not run tests or ascertain the validity of the sellers claims. Objects that I receive that are not jade always go back to the seller. Thank you for your concern. By the way, the yellow jade snake chop seal turned out to be a softer mineral, likely a sickly pee-green serpentine. Well, like the Beatles sang: "Return to Sender". |

Posted By: China Doll Sat, May 16, 2020 To the great people who visit this wonderful forum. The last two posts that I have submitted for "jade" objects were objects that I had just purchased and had not received yet. Upon receiving both objects it was immediately clear that neither were made of jade, so I promptly returned both of them. You all have my solemn promise that I will not describe anything until I have received and determined what the object really is. Thanks everyone for your help and input ! To Mark: You hit the nail on the head ...it is exactly what you described !! Well, as the one and only Elvis sang in '62, "Return to Sender". |
